Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s ‘2.0’ which hit the screens on Thursday has certainly lived up to audience expectations. Though the magnum opus received mixed responses from the movie lovers, the box office collections for the opening days have bagged enough bucks.
The collections that the production team earned in the first four days serve as a testament to the fact how the people enjoyed and loved the movie. Thanks to the director Shankar and Co. The sci-fi flick is even running well in the North Indian market- Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar circuits.
Yesterday, the trade expert Ramesh Bala added that Early estimates of Hindi version 2.0 bagged Rs 32 crore taking its 4-day collection to Rs 95 crore. “Early Estimates for #2Point0 (Hindi) – Day 4 Sunday – All-India Nett is looking at ₹ 32 Crs.. A Opening Weekend of ₹ 95 Crs.. A Possibility..”
Today, the trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to micro-blogging Twitter platform to add that the hindi version of 2.0 has crossed 100 crore, which is Akshay’s highest grossing before the first week. “#2Point0 cruises past ₹ 100 cr mark on Day 5 [Mon]… Will emerge Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser *before* Week 1 concludes… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Mon 13.75 cr.
