A real hero is not the one who entertains by performing crazy stunts, fights, dance moves in movies but the one who steps forward to help the people without even caring for his life. When Kerala constantly fought the deadliest flash flood that was the worst in 100 years, we came across many heroes risking their lives to save others, restoring a leap of faith in humanity.
Words are just not enough to praise these heroes. Active volunteers, NDRF members, Indian Navy, Army, fishermen and the local police were there at the rescue operations. One among the unsung heroes was the fisherman, identified as, Jaisal.
Jaisal became the most popular figure on social media when a video of him bending down in water to make way for the flood-ravaged victims to enter the rescue boat went viral all over the internet. He positioned himself down such a way that the people found it a bit easier to climb on to the boat before stepping on his back.
After seeing his heart-touching gesture, people on social media showered praise on him. Mahindra and it’s dealer in Kerala called “Eram Motors” also joined the bandwagon to praise and send good wishes for Jaisal. After that, they rewarded him with a brand new luxurious Mahindra Marazzo for his spectacular heroics during the flood. Jaisal received the car’s key from Kerala Excise and Labour minister TP Ramachandran.
Jaisal narrated the serious situation during the floods. He said that he saw women facing an issue in climbing onto the boat which triggered him to do it. From what we can come to a firm conclusion is that, he didn’t really do it for popularity or for some reward. It was his duty to help the victims in crucial moments.
Jaisal who won millions of hearts with his touching gesture said that the new Mahindra Marazzo will empower to help more people in the times to come.
