The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the class 10 board exam results on May 29 (Tuesday) on the official website ‘cbseresults.nic.in’. Students can check their results from this website. The pass percentage of the class 10 board exam result is said to be 86.70 percent.
Prakhar Mittal is in the spotlight for topping the board examination with an amazing 499/500, securing 99.8 percent to his brilliant performance. He is a student from Delhi Public School in Gurgaon. In an exclusive interview with IndiaTodayEducation, the Class 10 topper said, “I did not expect to top the board examination. I thought to score 90 percent only.”
The CBSE Class 10 topper lost 1 mark in French subject. While speaking about his preparations, Mittal said he was consistent and his parents didn’t pressurize him to study. He studied whatever was taught in school and that’s how he became successful. He says, “I was consistent throughout the board examination. I did not take board examination burden on me. My parents did not put any pressure on me and I just read whatever was taught in my school.”
Prakhar shared his mantra behind his success. He says, “You don’t have to study for hours. Just be regular and revise all the topics which you feel are difficult. My parents have also supported. They never stopped me from doing extracurricular activities. I just studied calmly,” said the topper.
He took coaching from FIITJEE for both class 10 board exam and for engineering, which will help him gain vast knowledge. “I was taking coaching from FIITJEE for both class 10 board examination and for engineering also,” he said.
According to Prakhar, he is keen to do engineering after completing Class 12 board exams. “After completing my Class 12 board examination, I will take up engineering in my graduation,” Prakhar added.
