Minnat Lalpuria ensures to provide the best service to the customers. For every service, she takes 2 percent commission. Minnat did her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir in Juhu, Mumbai. Following that, she completed her engineering from SP Engineering College. After that, she got a job in TCS where she worked for six months and then tried her hand in the digital marketing department.
After gaining a work experience of five years, she completed her MBA from Indian School of Business. Thereafter, Minnat decided to build a strong foundation for her business. She was interested to start a wedding consultancy service. She takes inspiration from her father who plies his trade in the real estate business. Minnat’s family supported her very well. While speaking with YourStory, she earlier said,
“We are not matchmakers or wedding planners. Wedding planners help organise theme-based weddings, while we act as consultants.” As per customer’s needs, 7Vachan picks three to four options for each service. Be it beauty services, venue, dresses, the company has collaborated with different brands to ensure customers receive handsome discounts.
Minnat established her company ‘7Vachan‘ in September 2012. Her starting year was decent as she provided service for 300 weddings in the same year itself. When it reached out to people, the company became popular. She has offered services for more than 10,000 weddings so far.
She offers services to over 3,500 weddings each year and has built a great deal of partnership with nearly 6,500 hotels. The company, which had only one member when it started, now has 12 members. The company that started with an initial investment of Rs 2 lakh had attained a meteoric rise of Rs 50 lakh in the first year itself.
Now, Minnat’s company has a massive turnover of Rs 10-12 crore every year. Minnat’s company have by far provided the best services and the company head is planning to take this services to next step. She believes that they will soon attain a turnover of Rs 18-20 crore.
