Two friends from Indore grabbed AIR 2 and 3 ranks in NEET 2017

What can your friendship goals be? To travel around the world, to accomplish some goals together or stay together forever. But Archit Gupta and Manish Mulchandani from Indore, two really good friends did something extraordinary and grabbed the 2nd and 3rd rank respectively in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017.

These both prodigies left their home to concentrate more on studies and and joined the same coaching institution in Indore. “I am from Indore but I decided to live in the hostel to maintain my concentration. I didn’t follow any schedule to study. I used to pick any book according to my wish and started studying. I kept my focus on my weak points and converted it into my strength,” Gupta said as quoted by HT.

Archit Gupta will now be representing India in the Bio Olympiad which will be conducted this year in London. His friend Manish said there always exists a healthy competition between each other and that’s one of the main reason behind their success.

“Archit and I always compete with each other, but it is a healthy competition and it helped us both in scoring well. I am happy that my hard work paid off today,” Mulchandani said. Both these students will now be heading to All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) for their MBBS course. As we all know, AIIMS is the most prestigious college in the country for MBBS studies and to grab a seat out there together is indeed a spectacular achievement.

Manish who scored 84% in Class 12, said it was not necessary that only toppers from school can top the competitive exam. “I concentrated on studies to clear NEET. I was just expecting a good medical college but I am happy to secure a rank in the merit,” he added.

This really is inspiring isn’t it? Friendship teaches you so many things in life and propels you to greater heights in every aspect of life. This is a great example of what friendship can help you attain and if it had not been for each other’s support, neither Manish nor Archit would’ve reached this level.
