To get a job in Tata Consultancy Services, people strive hard day and only a select few incredible talented and fortunate ones accomplish their dream. Many are dreaming to get the job he left. But for Bharat Darbarsingh Yadav, joining the Indian Army was of paramount importance in his life and to join the Army, he even decided to quit his job at TCS.
Yadav’s father passed away when he was in his 5th Standard and to join the army had been one of his childhood desires. But financial struggles forced him to get himself a decent job after completing his engineering.
Though he failed to crack the Nation Defense Academy exam conducted in 2009, he managed to crack the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam ranked 108th out of 153 candidates and will be joining the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai in the first week of April.
He will be officially commissioned into the Indian Army as a Short Service Commissioned (SSC) officer after completing his training period.
“When I took up the job as a system engineer in 2014, I knew this was not the place I wanted to be for the rest of my life,” he said.
He is a native of Sutala Budruk village in Khamgaon in Buldhana district, cleared the BE examination from Shri Santh Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon, and got a job at TCS, Hinjewadi in 2014.
