Mumbai Woman Who Stripped In The Elevator Finally Explains Why She Did Like That

Megha Sharma, who is a Mumbai-based Model and content writer was in the news recently for stripping her clothes partially in an elevator of her building in Andheri following an altercation with a security guard. Later, she tweeted that she had to accompany them to the police station as early as 3 am as no female constable was present at that time.

In an interview with ANI, Meghna opened up that it was 1 am at night when she felt that she wanted to smoke. According to the woman, she called up the security guard of her housing and then she asked him whether he could get her a cigarette.

When the guard refused to help her at the spot, she tried to convince the guards over there by telling them that it won’t be safe for her to go out at that time of the night but it didn’t work out.

One of the guards allegedly called her ‘characterless’ and also mentioned that they are not interested to treat someone who roams about in a nightdress, like a princess.

She said adding that when the cops continued forcing her and the security guard blocked the elevator she pressed into stripping in the split second thinking that they would feel ashamed and leave the spot immediately. However, the men over there did not leave and instead, filmed her via mobile phones.

“When I came back I asked them that there were three to four guards and you could have sent at least a single person, in a very polite manner. He started showing his attitude and tantrums and then he said that we are not here to treat a characterless girl like you, like a princess.”

In the video, she clearly explains how the cops as well as the guards, surrounded her near the elevator preventing her from going home. Ergo, she had no option but to strip.

“I told them that it’s 3 am at night and I am having a shoot tomorrow at 7 am. I then walked away to the lift area. I was about to press the button when they surrounded me from everywhere. They were taking me out and saying that you have to come with us. Now you tell me one thing, a girl is in a nightdress, how can cops tell that you have to come this way only?”

She stripped her clothes just because she thought that she might be raped if she goes to the police station with so many men around at night time.
