In a sensational development, the United States has reportedly said yes to assist India in hunting down underworld don Dawood Ibrahim who is believed to be hiding somewhere in Pakistan.

As per the Zee Media, the legit agreement between the United States and India in tracking down the Mumbai serial blasts mastermind and his close assistants was reached during the first-ever 2+2 dialogue that happened in the national capital New Delhi on Thursday.

It has come to light that the US Administration of President Donald Trump, which has declared Dawood a global terrorist and announced a bounty of USD 20 million on his head. The US has also agreed to put more pressure on Pakistan to rein in several terror outfits functioning from its soil and take their network apart.

During the discussion, US shared India’s concern that Pakistan continues to allow Hafiz Saeed roam freely despite the reward that America has placed on his head for his part in terror activities. During the 2+2 India, US dialogue, the two sides came to a conclusion that the elimination of terrorism was important for global peace and stability.

“The ministers announced their intent to increase information-sharing efforts on known or suspected terrorists and to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2396 on returning foreign terrorist fighters,” a joint statement issued after the discussion said.

“The ministers denounced any use of terrorist proxies in the region, and in this context, they called on Pakistan to ensure that the territory under its control is not used to launch terrorist attacks on other countries,” it said.
