IAF flight flies 11 hours non-stop to Australia for the first time

In good news, an Indian Air Force flight C-17 Globe Master flew without limitation from Chennai to Australia in 11 hours non-stop for the first time ever. Reportedly, this is the longest ever by an IAF C-17 and the record was accomplished during the de-induction of the IAF PitchBlack contingent 2018.

The staggering C-17 that boasts great looks is a huge aircraft and it is mainly used for disaster, relief and rescue operations. C-17, which is the Globe Master of Indian Air Force was on an 11-hour non-stop flight journey from Chennai to Townsville, East Coast Australia. A Big salute to IAF.

We need to appreciate the aircraft and its design which is made by Boeing in the US.

“Longest flight by IAF C-17 Aircraft: On 16 Aug 18, C-17 Globe Master aircraft of IAF undertook 11 hours non-stop flight from Chennai, taking off in their magnificent machine before sunrise and landing at Townsville, East Coast Australia, well past sunset.

This was the longest flight by C-17 aircraft of Indian Air Force. This feat was achieved during the de-induction of the IAF #PitchBlack contingent 2018,” IAF posted this on their Facebook account.
