Indian girl wins silver medal in women’s long jump, feel proud to share this

Our Indian athletes are hitting the headlines for all the right reasons. We are quite often hearing the news of our heroes scripting history by winning medals. They are making India proud.

This time it was Neena Varakil’s turn to announce her arrival in the long jump event of the ongoing Asian Games 2018 at the Jakarta, Indonesia. Her personal best jump recorded 6.51m in Women’s long jump final which came in the fourth attempt.

She sparked off with a good leap of 6.41m and then bettered it by 6.50m. This was enough for her to seal the silver medal. The Youth wishes her good luck for her future endeavours.
