Fans are upset as MSD is likely to retire soon? Catch Full news inside

India’s former skipper MS Dhoni may have given us a little hint about retiring from international cricket. Following India’s 1-2 ODI defeat at the hands of the hosts England, rumours were widespread all over the social media platform that MSD retired from international cricket.

After the end of the 3rd ODI, we saw MS Dhoni asking the ball from the umpire while walking back to the pavilion. This sparked a huge confusion that MSD might retire from international cricket. When MS Dhoni decided to call it quits from Test cricket, he uprooted the stumps after the end of the match against Australia in 2014 and nobody knew that it was his last match.

The visitors missed out the trick to produce the perfect tonic in the series decider and fell prey to the hosts. England might have lost the T20 series but they bounced back to win the ODI series by sealing an 8-wicket win over India at Leeds. Things didn’t go on the side of India as England didn’t allow them any snippet of breathing space to go for the kill.

Shockingly, this was also Virat Kohli’s first ODI series loss as captain. We all saw that Indians had a bad day at the office, something that you don’t see quite often particularly in the form that they are in. Under the astute captaincy traits of Virat Kohli and with some backing from MS Dhoni, India have won straight 10 ODI series in a row but England had all the ingredients to put a full stop.

Die-hard MSD fans were upset after seeing MS Dhoni asking the ball from the umpire. All are expecting him to continue the game for some more years. Let’s hope that MS Dhoni will extend his contributions till the next World Cup or maybe beyond that.
