Meghna Srivastava shocks India, secures 499/500 in Class 12 CBSE Exams

Meghna Srivastava is in the spotlight after becoming all India topper of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12th, results of which were declared on May 26 (Saturday). The amount of hard work she put in to secure top-notch is worth applauding. All her hard work paid off. She took the entire country by a surprise when she chipped in with a staggering 499 out of 500 marks. Yes, you read it right!

Hailing from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Meghna Srivastava is trending all over the internet. She is a student of Step by Step School where topped the 12th CBSE exams with 99.8 percent. Her marks in each subject stunned everyone as She essayed a flamboyant centum in History, Geography, Psychology, Economics and 99 in English core.

According to the CBSE topper, there is no secret or mantra to success. She stressed the fact that hard work and consistency are the two important factors to become successful and she had accomplished it. She added saying that she didn’t count the number of hours she studied as she was only going about her learning strategies as the times progressed.

“There is no secret, you just have to work hard and be consistent throughout the year. I never counted the number of hours I studied. My teachers and parents have been really helpful. They never pressurised me,” Meghana Srivastava, CBSE All India Class 12 topper told as per ANI.

Anoushka Chandra is the second topper who scored 498 out of 500 marks. Seven students such as Chahat Bodhraj, Astha Bamba, Tanuja Kapri, Supriya Kaushik, Nakul Gupta, Kshitij Anand and Ananya Singh shared the third spot, scoring 497 marks.

This year, a sum of 72,599 students secured 90 percent and above marks while 12,737 students scored 95 percent and above. The top three regions that stood out are Trivandrum, Chennai and Delhi with 97.32%, 93.87% and 89% respectively. Once again, the same pattern continued as girls outclassed boys with an overall passing percentage of 88.31 compared to 78.09 for boys,
